Gil Wrayson is a young internet rapper from the Midwest. He started the gilwraysonandfriends YouTube channel with his friend, CeeTo-J (aka Janulis), though he has not made as any songs as Wrayson has. The first collaboration between the two, High, got them minor recognition in their hometown.

After a few non-album singles and Rap Genius cyphers, Wrayson released his first EP, Free Hugs, initially by releasing the songs in chronological order on YouTube, then releasing the full album with two bonus tracks on Mediafire. The EP met with a mixed reception.

He tries to avoid the stereotypes of typical teenage rappers on the Internet, by going from mixtapes straight to an EP, not having a Soundcloud, and most of the things Filthy Frank talks about in his “BAD INTERNET RAPPERS” video.
