AKA: T. Coleman, Trevell Coleman
G. Dep (born Trevell Coleman on November 12, 1973) is an American rapper from Harlem, New York. He rose to fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s as a member of Sean “P. Diddy” Combs' Bad Boy Records roster. G. Dep’s debut album, “Child of the Ghetto,” was released in 2001 and spawned the hit single “Special Delivery,” which peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He released a second album, “Ghetto Legend,” in 2003, but his music career was put on hold after he turned himself in to authorities in 2010 for a 1993 murder case, for which he was later convicted and sentenced to 15 years to life in prison.
