Furky Sheeks
Furky Sheeks (born January 28, 2007, as Furkan Mamur) is a Turkish musician and animator who is known for his independently released trap/hip-hop music and his self-produced digital animation projects. Born in the Yenice district of Çanakkale, he completed his primary education at Edremit Cumhuriyet Elementary School and his secondary education at Edremit Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, where he developed an early interest in information technologies and visual arts. During his student years, he took on technical duties in the video and projection processes of local digital promotion projects and, as of 2025, began his associate degree education in the field of theology. He started his digital career in 2016 with web administration and forum moderation, later working as an editor, content creator, and site manager on various web platforms before leaving these positions in 2024 to focus entirely on his independent digital projects. In his musical career, which started with inspiration from classical music, he produces works in trap, modern hip-hop, pop, and dark rhythms. Utilizing Source Filmmaker (SFM) and digital illustration techniques in 3D animation and modeling, Mamur supports his musical works with his own visual clips and creates short animated films that blend daily life observations with sci-fi elements. His independent digital animation series and film projects, which feature original fictional characters like “Mamurized,” are completely scripted, voice-acted, and edited by himself. Reflecting his interest in pop culture elements, he also creates independent fan art and illustrations, particularly inspired by his interest in the character Sandy Cheeks from the SpongeBob SquarePants series.
