According to Discogs, Folder began in 1997 by Alex at the age of 19. He was a part of the lineup for Drastic (1998) and Keep The Flow (2001) and was the lyricist for the band with Max B. Shortly after Alex passed away in a car crash in 2000, Folder dedicated Keep The Flow to him.

After releasing Keep The Flow (2001) they made a bonus edition with 2 new tracks in 2003 and released it in Japan. Shortly after their release of Right Things in 2005, Folder broke up. One of the members is now a part of the band Idols Are Dead.
