Fetah

AKA: Abdelfattah Benhis, Fetahalvb

Abdelfattah Benhis aka Fetah Moroccan rapper, singer and producer. Born on Kalaa D'Sraghna, in May 10, 1999.

Growing up, Fetah developed a strong passion for singing and melodies. He was especially drawn to live performances, memorable melodies, sustained notes, and melodic runs and riffs.

Fetah picked up the guitar in 2017, but he hadn’t yet considered taking music seriously. He began making music as a beat maker in 2018, and because of that he had a lot of spare time that year, the process went very quickly for him.

Fetah started recording himself in 2019 over the rhythms he creates, saying: “It was an eye and ear opening experience the first time I recorded my vocals and made a whole song with lyrics and arrangement.”

Fetah said: “There is no right way to start a song; sometimes I record raw vocals first, sometimes I make the instrumental first, and sometimes I even have the text written beforehand. It depends on the mood and subject matter of the track”.

Fetah has a distinctive sound signature, which he is continuously developing for his listeners. He intends to continue releasing music so that everyone can hear and feel it.

Fetah has a smooth voice, easily recognizable. He has a wide vocal range that enables him to sing both the lowest and highest notes with ease.

Fetah enjoys using his music to express a wide range of feelings, such as melancholy, sadness, nostalgia, happiness, and at times rage.

“I do use music as a means of self-expression to communicate my innermost feelings and thoughts and to serve as a reminder to myself. My songs are instantaneous photographs of who I am and what I’m doing.”

“My music is highly empathetic, whether it’s sad, joyful, or upbeat. My intention is to express what I feel to the audience and to myself.”

Fetah is quite outgoing; music occupies a large portion of his interests in life, aids him to meet new people and musicians, and provides solace during tough moments.
