Based in Toronto, ON, Canada, Featurette was formed in 2012 by singer Lexie Jay and drummer, Jon Fedorsen.

The group consists of three members.
- Lexie Jay (Vocals)
- Jon Fedorsen (Drums/Synth)
- Marc Koecher (Keys/Synth/Guitar)

Featurette has also shared the stage in April 2024 with the bands, Milky Chance and X Ambassadors during an Altitunes music festival in Canada.
And Featurette was an opening band for Mother Mother in October 2019 at Maxwell’s Concerts & Events, which is located in Waterloo, ON, Canada.

They released their first LP, Crave in 2016 and have more than 200K streams on their song, Shibari.
