Farya Faraji
An Iranian-born composer and musician based in Canada, Farya Faraji creates music rooted in ethnic and folkloric traditions. His work spans the medieval, renaissance, and classical antiquity eras; much of his work consists of or is inspired by Iranian, Byzantine, Turkic, and Greek folk music, but also spans to Slavic, Norse, West-European and Moroccan. Faraji’s music has been described as versatile, ranging from epic songs like “Achaemenes” to contemplative and mournful pieces like “Mithra” and “Andarz”. He has been producing music since at least 2019, starting with ORKHON according to his Youtube channel.
