Melissa Faith Storwick, known professionally as Grammy-winner FAANGS (formerly Charlie), is a Canadian singer-songwriter and actress. Born on November 13, 1998, in Calgary, Alberta, she demonstrated a passion for entertainment from a young age, teaching herself piano by ear and engaging in musical theatre.

Storwick first gained public recognition as the winner of “The Next Star” season 4, a Canadian television show for young singers, at the age of 12. Following this, she starred as Piper Gray in the YTV series “Some Assembly Required.”

Transitioning her focus back to music, Storwick began to write for other artists and eventually launched her own music career under the moniker FAANGS. She has collaborated with and written for notable artists such as Ashnikko, Rico Nasty, David Guetta, The Chainsmokers, Marshmello, and Jennifer Lopez. Her songwriting credits include “Cry” by Ashnikko (featuring Grimes) and “Barbie Dreams” by FIFTY FIFTY and Kaliii, contributing to “Barbie The Album” which won a Grammy Award for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media. FAANGS has also released her own music, including singles like “Huh” and albums such as “Teeth Out.”
