Eze (Eze Not Eazy)

Eze not Eazy, still make it look easy. The 22-year-old artist and producer from Luton is fast emerging as one of Grime’s newest wave of defining voices.

Drawing inspiration from Ghetts, Dave & Sampha, he blends sharp lyricism and personal storytelling with a producer’s ear – his words are moulded by the sound around it to cut deep, written with the detail and intent that earns reloads.

His live run reads like a tour of the scene’s most respected stages – from DJ Maximum’s “Maximum & Friends” with BBK, to Novelist’s birthday with Kruz Leone, Logan_olm, Crafty 893 and Duppy, to Travs Presents with P Money, Jme and Rude Kid, to HOTB London with Tailor Jae, Sir Spyro, Big Fudz and N3. Add opening for Ghetts & Rude Kid on the Adidas Superstars x JD x Rinse FM x DaMetalMessiah campaign, plus features on LinkUp TV and BBC 1Xtra, and the receipts speak for themselves.

On record, Eze opened the year with “Oh My,” produced by Novelist – now picking up plays at Fabric Live and rotation on BBC 1Xtra and Reprezent. He followed by executive producing “Salem” for AWize and Amzzino.

Co-signed by Ghetts, P Money, JME, Sir Spyro, Novelist and DJ Maximum, Eze has rare backing for an artist this early on. Between stageshows and the studio, he’s one of the new wave carrying grime into its next chapter – with plenty more to come.
