Exits is the indie-rock / synth-pop project of Virginia-based singer-songwriter Matt Porter. Porter originally performed under his own name but started recording under the “Exits” moniker in 2015. The reason behind this name changed is explained in his “Exits (Commentary)” from his self-titled debut EP.

Since then, Porter has released two EPs under this name, those being Exits and Loner. It is unknown if he plans to release a full-length album in the future.
