Ewy (they/them) is a queer folk-punk artist from rural North Yorkshire. They describe themselves as a “self proclaimed Minecraft PVP pro” and “very passionate that Sunfkin and Moomin are gay lovers.”

Starting their music career uploading covers to their YouTube channel, Ewy’s first original release was their EP Conductors, released in 2019. Over the course of the next few years, Ewy continued to develop their music, collaborating with artists such as Dylan Kanner and Bertie Kirkwood. In 2022 they released a split, r//g//b, with artists ​andie schoen and sunny day.
