evez is the alias of electronic music producer and visual artist Iván Martínez.

Based in the rural zone of Costa Rica, evez is a genre-defying artist whose songs move between genres such as synthwave, darkwave, EDM, breakcore and neoperreo.

He released his first extended play ‘4AM’ during 2025, an official re-issue from his previous work originally posted on Soundcloud during 2022. This re-issue also included a double single after the release of ‘4AM’, titled ‘ouch/woo’.

evez formed part of the independant label, 1X Recordings before it ultimately shut down. He was signed with them on March 1 of 2025.
