Essiyas Tessema is an independent artist based out of Vancouver, Canada. Growing up inspired by all types of music, this emerging singer-songwriter developed a passion for R&B and hip-hop at an early age. Essiyas works exclusively with long-time friend and producer arya x. Together they have created a sound that infuses ambient R&B and atmospheric melodies with dark trap elements.

On May 31, 2024 Essiyas put out his debut project. Lost in Desire, an EP containing 7 tracks of a similar dark vibe. The EP included his old release and breakout single, Overdrive.
