Elias Hakizimana, better known by his stage name EphyDafuture, is a multi-talented Mozambican Internet personality, actor, composer, rapper, comedian, and entrepreneur. He was born on October 11, 2000, in the neighbourhood of Napipini, Nampula, to Burundian parents, Business Men, Bigirimana Vianney and Agnes Nabasabwa. Ephy grew up with six brothers and two sisters and moved to South Africa, Durban, when he was five years old.

Ephy attended Resmount Primary School for his elementary education and Victory Secondary School for his high school education. After graduating, he enrolled at Universidade Politecnica, where he competed in IT software projects. In 2020, Ephy graduated from Universidade Politecnica with a bachelor’s degree in IT Engineering. During his last months of university, Ephy started making music and skits.

Apart from his professional life, EphyDafuture has been a fan of gaming since he was young, around the age of 10. His older brothers introduced him to gaming, and his favorite games to play are FIFA and Dragon Ball Super. He also enjoys playing basketball and supports the Lakers. His favorite NBA player is James Harden. EphyDafuture enjoys watching animes, and his favorite anime is Dragon Ball Sagas. In his spare time, he goes out with his friends, goes to the beach, and engages in any activity that involves being active.
