Empyrean is the moniker under which producer Katie Raine utilizes music as a form of therapy and visceral self-expression. Fully immersed in the world of extreme metal from childhood, Katie began rapidly branching out, diving headfirst into the wide and diverse world of musical genres, returning home with elements of each that she then added to her own work. Each song has a definitive purpose and context for its existence. To date, all Empyrean songs are instrumental, but Katie’s masterful guitar and keyboard work speaks more than words ever could.
