Hailing from Spanish Fork, Utah, Eidola is an experimental post-hardcore six-piece. The band’s discography shares an overarching story, following the protagonist’s life, death, and spiritual reincarnation. The band has gone through a few lineup changes but has cemented themselves as one of the titans of Swancore.

In 2012, the band self-released their first album, The Great Glass Elephant. Two years later, Eidola signed to Blue Swan Records, owned by Dance Gavin Dance’s Will Swan. In 2015, they released their second LP Degeneraterra, to follow two years later. The band propelled into a more mainstream with the release of a trilogy surrounding two main characters, The Architect and The Alchemist. In late 2025, the band dropped from Rise Records to join 3DOT Records, which is run by progressive metal band Periphery.
