The music career of multi-instrumentalist Diego Mapa is not just confined to his contribution to his main band, Pedicab. It branches out to the bands where he plays a sizable role in, (Cambio, Monsterbot, and Dayuhan) as well as his home-recording alter-ego Eggboy, where he plays around with his lo-fi and experimental sensibilities whilst crafting works that “replicate his idols Moneymark, Ben Lee, Cornelius, The Crabs, The Beach Boys, The Zombies, and even Cinderella (Manila).”

In line with his alter-ego’s DIY nature, Eggboy’s music was distributed through underground circles, special shops, gigs and friends in CD-R format via various distributors, one of which, was Mapa’s very own Sibika’t Kultura Records.
