Edgar the Beatmaker is the beatmaking alias of Archy Marshall aka King Krule.

Under this name, in 2013 Archy released on Bandcamp the album Darkest Shades of Blue.

In an interview on NTS Radio, Marshall revealed that the alias came from his love for history and was inspired by the name of King Edgar the Peacemaker.
