ECLIPSE (이클립스) is a four-member fictional project boy band from the South Korean drama “Lovely Runner” (2024).

The group consists of:

• guitarist Inhyuk (portrayed by Lee Seung Hyeob)
• vocalist Sunjae (portrayed by Byeon Woo Seok)
• drummer Hyunsoo (portrayed by Moon Xion)
• bassist Jay (portrayed by Yang Hyuk)

According to the plot, the band members are college students in 2008 who eventually rise to become one of Korea’s most famous rock bands. Their music plays a key role in the narrative, connecting the past and present of the main characters.

The official soundtrack album was released on April 8, 2024, coinciding with the series premiere. The lead single, “소나기 (Sudden Shower),” performed by Byeon Woo Seok in-character as Sunjae, peaked at number four on the South Korean Circle Digital Chart and reached number 167 on the Billboard Global 200 chart. The song won in the Best Soundtrack category at various award ceremonies: APAN Star Awards, Asia Artist Awards, MAMA Awards and Melon Music Awards.
