And brought their retro-future, cyber-noir brand of synthwave / synthpop to your ears. EVX are producer Erik Nielsen (Oxford, England) and songwriter James McDonough (Providence, Rhode Island), former roommates who met while working in an indie second-hand record shop and bonded over their shared obsession with video games, vinyl LPs, and chicken wings.
