ECEL is the alias of Utah-based singer, songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, etc. Everett Linn.

Under the ECEL moniker, Everett takes inspiration from artists such as Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, The Weeknd, and many others in order to create his own unique blend of pop, rock, and electronic music.

ECEL is currently rolling out his debut full-length album titled Ouroboric. A semi-autobiographical concept album about a person who puts themselves in a loop of isolation due to mental health struggle and drug use, this album was released on May 29th, 2026. It leans much heavier into genres such as industrial rock, neo-psychedelia, and alternative dance than previous ECEL releases.

Five singles have been released from this album. Those being the dual lead singles “From the Outside” and “Deeper” (released on the same day), the house-influenced “Soul Depleting (Alive Again),” the progressive pop ballad “The Blame,” and the industrial-alt-dance anthem “Someone to Save Me.”
