Tafari Minott (born April 7, 2002) aka Duvy, is a Canadian rapper from the south side Jane & Finch neighbourhood also known as Connections in Toronto, Ontario and is a member of the Connection Bloods subset NH$ (Neva Had $hit). He is known for his unique style that blends catchy melodies and creative vocal tone changes. Duvy gained significant recognition after the release of his 2nd album, “Grasswayz” in 2022. He is best known for songs like “Clear the Spot”, “Shlime Talk”, and “NightmareZ”.

Duvy’s career grinded to a stand still when he was arrested charged with second-degree murder on May 26, 2023, for the October 6, 2022, murder of Osman Bangura aka CYB Bangs.

On November 26, 2024 Duvy and his co-defendant Richard Samuels aka DP CYB both plead guilty to manslaughter and were both sentenced to six years in prison.
