South Florida native Dubba-AA (pronounced “Double A”) has always marched to the beat of his own drum and now that route has the emcee emerging from behind the board and into a solo artist of his own right. While he is known famously in the rap game as an artist and producer, one can say his hard work is paying off as he is emerging onto the music scene and fast.

His sound is a culmination of his upbringing and career evolution from house of worship, to producer, to rapper; heavily influencerd by gospel church and the streets. Along with being an undeniably talented producer and beatmaker, Dubba-AA is no stranger to the stage. His debut music artistry, with the music group Pangea Kidz led him to hundreds of shows nationally and internationally, including ShowTime at the Apollo, Broadway Stages, and BET’s 106 and Park. The success of the group is what ignited Dubba-AA’s fire to be a solo music artist, in which he is overly invested in presently. Dubba-AA also has great success as a solo artist by collaborating with artists such as Kodak Black, Youngboy Never Broke Again, and Hot Boy Turk, to name a few, accompanied by performances as a solo artist locally and nationally, and even opening up in concert for Future. Dubba-AA has also executively produced VH1’s hit television show, Signed.

Undoubtedly, a jack of all musical trades, Dubba-AA has a dream of touching the world through his music and taking the rap game by storm with his lyrical gift and indisputable recording artistry talent.

No rookie to the game in any aspect, Dubba-AA keeps a work ethic that will surely lead him to a successful flourishing career in music. His humbleness and loyalty paired with his undeniable talent makes him a definite key component in the music industry.

In his most recent accomplishments, he has been acknowledged as a 2023 Grammy Nominee for his work with Tennessee State University’s Aristocrat of Bands on The Urban Hymnal in the Best Roots Gospel Album category.
