DT 702 is a rapper/songwriter born and raised in the Sin City of the Sin, Las Vegas, NV! Humble music beginnings began in 2015 when he started officially recording songs on his laptop via Mixcraft 7 in a three bedroom apartment. His journey as an artist began at the age of 24 years old! During this time he created two other monikers or aka’s: Black McCaulay Culkin and Sin City’s Very Own. DT 702’s distinctive sound and instinctive style equipped with a variety of flows and rhyme schemes, allows him to deliver versatility lyrically over any production. A kid born and raised with his biological parents, married and with siblings, provides a different perspective contrary to the popular notion of black hip-hop artists. Copious amounts of examples, but not limited to: single mother house hold; fatherless; lived in the projects; joined a gang; incarcerated for multitudes of crimes; sold drugs; committed murders; witnessed/experienced many loved ones murdered; and more. His ultimate message overall is to be an example of an individual who was able to be himself and still be successful regardless of all the hate, doubt, deceit, and negative life events, while still being able to connect with many who didn’t grow up the way he did!
