The story of Drawing North started from writing simple pop demos in a garage to selling out their first ever headline show to over 600 people in their hometown of Canberra, Australia. Since then, the 3 friends, Po, Jake Allen, and Drew Southwell, have constantly been at work, whether it be booking their own 40 date school’s tour of Australia, recording acoustic releases endorsed by Joel Madden of Good Charlotte or playing festivals such as Australia Celebrates live, Vans Warped Tour Australia and Groovin The Moo. The band has also had the opportunity to support international and homegrown artists such as Paul Kelly, Jessica Mauboy and Sheppard. Drawing North have played over 200 shows thus far all around the country and as a result of constant touring and online promotion, the band has collected an ever-growing online fan base with over 35,000 fans across social media sites Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, over 400,000 views across YouTube, coverage in Blunt Mag and Channel V.
