North Carolina rapper D.O.P.E. (Brandon Burgess) of DOPE Productions comes with a flow similar to that of Big Sean. He has often times even expressed his love of the music from the Detroit Artist. He began rapping at the age of 10. As a Freshman in high school he began to take his music more seriously. It started out as free styling with friends on the back of the bus, then with the help of his good friend Scarlett Fever (Markeyce Scarlett) he began to record, mix, and master his own music. After 11 years and 14 mix tapes he began to see his music career taking shape. Getting played on different radio stations, doing many interviews, having his music distributed across major streaming services such as iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, Pandora, etc., and even sitting down with Rel Carter: Roc Nation A&R who has offered him a tremendous amount of useful feedback. It’s no secret that this guy will never stop coming with the DOPE bars, beats, and punch lines to keep his fans entertained.
