Hezekiel Buckhalter, professionally known as dexelz, is an American rapper and singer from Atlanta, Georgia.

About his name origin, he stated:

It was a long time ago. It was probably 2012-2013. I was just a young nigga on the game and I jailbroke my PlayStation 3, and something with the software, like, firmware after I jailbroke it had the D-E-X like ‘Dex,’ and then I just took that and then added three letters from my real name which is Hezekiel. I added the E, L and the Z, and I just pushed it together with ‘Dex.’

As declared in an interview, his sound is inspired by artists like Destroy Lonely, Future, Kid Cudi, D. Savage, J. Cole.

He started gaining traction in 2024 with his two singles “SWAG,” and “BLOW MY HIGH,” which was included in the album 007, both released under 10K Projects.

After leaving the label, he dropped a three-song single called holster. At the start of 2026, he released iLuvYou2, the sequel for his July 2024 album Iluvyou. After that, he released DX2 as a surprise album.
