Deep As Ocean is a modern metal band from Milan, Italy, blending elements of nu-metal and melodic metalcore. Formed in 2016 by brothers Alberto (guitar) and Riccardo Buttò (drums), the lineup was completed with vocalist Matt Bonfanti, bassist Matteo Acquati, and guitarist Andrea Fabro.

Their debut EP, Lost Hopes | Broken Mirrors, was released in 2016, establishing their presence in the metal scene. This was followed by their first full-length album, Crossing Parallels, in December 2019. The band continued to evolve with the concept EP Chronicles in April 2022, featuring tracks inspired by literary works and folk traditions exploring themes of life, death, and the afterlife.

In November 2024, Deep As Ocean released their latest album, Dance With Death, showcasing their signature fusion of heavy riffs and melodic interludes. The album includes singles such as “Dark Place,” which reflects their dynamic range and depth.

Over the years, Deep As Ocean has shared the stage with notable bands like Crystal Lake, Ghost Iris, Blood Youth, and supported Escape The Fate during their Italian tour in 2023. Their music has amassed over 5 million collective streams and views worldwide, reflecting their growing international fanbase.
