Dave Malloy is a musical theatre composer, best known for his Broadway musical Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812. He was nominated for three Tony Awards for it. Other accolades Malloy has received include Obie Awards, Glickman Awards, Drama Desk Awards, Lucille Lortell Awards, and Olivier Awards.

His Off-Broadway works include Ghost Quartet, Octet, Three Houses, Moby Dick: A Musical Reckoning, and more. His upcoming projects include Black Swan, which will premiere at the American Repertory Theater in May 26, 2026. Non-stage works include an upcoming movie adaptation of Octet, which Malloy will be writing.
