The Daredevils were a 1994 side project of Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz. The band featured Brett on guitar and lead vocals, film director Gore Verbinski (director of Pirates of the Caribbean and Rango) on Guitar, Dean Opseth (of the band Medicine) on Bass Guitar, and Josh Freese on Drums (member of the bands; The Vandals, A Perfect Circle, Offspring, Nine Inch Nails, DEVO and the Foo Fighters). They released only a single “Hate You” with a B-side of “Rules, Hearts” before disbanding. “Hate You” was featured a few compilation albums.
