Ahmed Kamel Djenadi (born January 6, 1997), professionally known as DAK, is an Algerian rapper based in Annaba. He is widely recognized for his distinctive flow, hardcore lyrics, and versatility across a range of rap styles.

DAK began his musical career in 2015 as a member of the group RCB Crew, debuting with the track “BLEDI”, a collaboration with PiPO. He later released his first solo project titled Révolution, which introduced his lyrical depth and artistic vision. From 2016 to 2018, DAK released five independent projects, steadily building his presence in the Algerian rap scene.

He gained wider recognition with the release of his single “Échec d'envoi” in January 2019, which marked a turning point in his rise to popularity.

In 2020, he continued to make an impact with “Bared”, “Karkabu” and the project Vécu Sale, followed by its sequel *Vécu Sale 2", solidifying his reputation as a bold and authentic voice. A major milestone followed in 2021 with the release of Harami de Luxe, an album that featured standout tracks such as “Wolves”, “Bennacer”, and “Hood Love”. During the same year, he began developing his next project, Pizzini.

DAK pushed his creative boundaries further with Annaba Bekri, a boom bap album that paid tribute to his hometown, featuring popular tracks like “Tacchini” and “Mouda Saket”. The following year, he explored a different sound with the drill-inspired mixtape CapoDrill, showcasing his ability to evolve artistically. He also made a powerful cultural statement with “Tamazgha United”, a collaborative track uniting several North African rappers.

In July 2023, DAK released Tassili on Spotify, a genre-spanning album featuring collaborations with prominent artists such as Enima, Blingos, Hamouda, and Ramzy AD. In the final months of that year, he began working on two new projects, The Black Wolf and Nouveau Riche, both of which were completed consecutively in 2024.

In September 2024, DAK was arrested following the release of “صوت الشعب 2”, a track that criticized the Algerian government. His arrest sparked widespread support from artists across North Africa, and he was released after spending eight days in custody.
