AKA: IT4MI, D4vddd, Limit Ant, David Burke, David A. Burke, David Anthony Burke

David Anthony Burke (born March 28, 2005), better known by his stage name d4vd, is a American singer-songwriter known to be one of the most versatile artists hailing from Queens, New York.

Despite recording his most viral songs on just his iPhone, he has taken over the internet with his captivating voice, somber lyrics, and vintage production that was poised to blow up. d4vd often experiments with his sound, making songs with genres like Indie, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Rock.

d4vd initially began releasing music so he could use them in his Fortnite montages. He would later get an emote in the game with the audio of “Feel It,” to eventually release the game’s first official anthem titled “Locked & Loaded.” d4vd would then start releasing his music on streaming platforms in November 2021. In the early stages of David’s music career, he would release rap and indie songs along with a drill mixtape named The Hoodstar Diary.

In July 2022, he received tons of recognition after releasing his most popular tracks, “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me.” A month after his rapid rise to fame, his hit single “Romantic Homicide” debuted at #77 on the Billboard Hot 100 during the chart week ending of September 17, 2022. The song would later peak at #33 following the success of the song.

His first project, Petals to Thorns, was released on May 26, 2023. The EP had many of his previous releases with some new songs and featured Laufey. On April 25, 2025, d4vd would release his debut and only studio album WITHERED. The album would go onto debut at #13 on the Billboard 200.

A deluxe version titled Marcescence was originally set to be released on September 19, 2025, serving as one full double album; however, it was delayed indefinitely due to allegations tied to the murder of a then missing 14-year-old girl who was found in the front of a car registered to his name. He was officially arrested for the murder of the then missing 14-year-old girl on April 16, 2026, while the deluxe leaked the month prior. According to a report from TMZ, he was also found to be possessing a “significant amount” of CSAM on his iCloud account.

In April 2026, it was reported that d4vd had officially been dropped from Interscope Records following his arrest announcement. He is currently being held at Twin Towers Correctional Facility and is facing the death penalty if found guilty.

I want d4vd to be a genre in itself, so I try to be as versatile as I can with the sounds that I use and how I convey emotion.
