Crimson Persistence was a rock band from the suburbs of Buffalo, NY, formed in September 2021. The lineup consisted of bassist Alex Rudnick, drummer/background vocalist Nolan Armitage, guitarist James Runfola and singer Franklin Payne. The band was formed amid the collapse of Rudnick’s first band, Project Galaxie. The musical inspirations of the band included everything from Green Day to Pink Floyd, Red Hot Chili Peppers to Eminem.

Crimson Persistence released their debut EP, Solutions, in February 2022, followed by the single Notice Me in May.

Crimson Persistence worked on their album Always Support the Bottom starting after the release of Solutions. During this time, Runfola and Payne both left the band, leaving Rudnick to assume the roles of vocalist and guitarist.

After the release of Always Support The Bottom on June 5th, 2022, Crimson Persistence disbanded.

Later that year, Rudnick formed the band Burn Your Idols with guitarist Will Lutz.
