Contact Play aka. CP, was a hip-hop group formed in Brighton by members Dirty Dike, Jam Baxter, Mr Key, Ronnie Bosh and Ed Scissor. Frontrunners in the UK Alternative Hip-Hop scene, they released one album, Champion Fraff, in 2009, as well as collaborating together on some of the member’s later solo projects.

The group have seemingly disbanded, though all five of these members would find solo success in the UK Hip Hop industry, either under High Focus Records or forming their own labels, like Melonskin Records which is owned by Dirty Dike. They would also continue to work together on some projects, like Jam Baxter and Ed Scissor’s joint album Laminated Cakes.
