Cole Myer
Cole Myer (b. April 30th, 2004) is a rapper, songwriter, and producer repping Winchester, Virginia.
Born in Fairfax and raised in South Riding before moving to Winchester at age 12, Myer has carried Winchester as the city he reps in his music and persona. His story in rap began young: in second grade he was already writing lyrics during recess, singing them without beats until a friend of his father took him to a studio. There, Myer recorded his first-ever track, Girls Everywhere (still available today).
By middle school, Myer was recording on his own again – first dropping diss tracks, then his debut EP With or Without You [Taken Down], which chronicled his first heartbreak. His first full-length album The World Is My Microphone [Taken Down] followed, inspired by a childhood drawing where the globe was reimagined as his microphone. In ninth grade he dropped the single Pull Up, which became a breakout among his early catalog. It was quickly followed by After Dark [Taken Down] and then Real Dark (still available).
The “Dark era” of his catalog would culminate when Myer linked up with fellow artist Yung Grady (now Todd Roberts). Grady had just released Outta My Body, and the two joined forces for Outta the Dark [Taken Down], wrapping up the “Dark” trilogy.
From there, Cole entered a prolific experimental phase. He dropped Hero Being the Villain [Taken Down], Top of the World with Yung Grady [Taken Down], Super Villain (under his alias “The Villain”) [Taken Down], and End of the World [Taken Down]. Alongside Lil Mop, he released Myery Mopidays [Taken Down], though its sequel Myery Mopidays 2 is still available. He also formed the short-lived but productive group Younger Boys with Lil Mop, Yung Grady, and Lil Shottz – releasing multiple collab projects (all since removed). Myer was also producing heavily during this time, with credits on Lil Mop, Lil Shottz, and Yung Grady projects that have also been scrubbed from streaming.
Before his viral breakthrough, Myer released As Small As an Elephant, a pivotal project in his catalog that marked a sharper evolution in both sound and songwriting. The album showcased a more refined balance between humor, self-awareness, and emotional honesty, becoming a cult favorite among longtime listeners and helping bridge the gap between Cole’s underground experimentation and the larger audience he would soon reach.
Despite the vast catalog, his true viral moment wouldn’t arrive until late 2024. In December, Myer challenged himself to drop one single every day for the entire month. Out of this run, Trophies exploded on social media, racking up over 8 million views on Instagram before his account was deleted by Meta. The loss of the page cut the momentum short, but the impact was undeniable – it was the spark that finally pushed him beyond Winchester and into wider recognition.
In 2025, Cole released Coal Miner, his defining album to date. Spanning 19 tracks, the project blends raw honesty, Virginia grit, and underground wit into a body of work that cements him as one of the most relentless young artists repping Winchester. Through constant content, independent grind, and unapologetic storytelling, Cole Myer has built himself into not just a rapper from Virginia, but the voice of a city too often overlooked.
The momentum continued into 2026 with the release of Your Questions, Our Answers, a collaborative album with longtime friend and collaborator Todd Roberts (formerly Yung Grady), released May 8, 2026. The project reunited the two after years of working together across multiple underground releases and eras of Myer’s catalog. Blending humor, chemistry, and the chaotic energy the duo became known for online, the album further expanded Cole’s growing cult fanbase while showcasing the creative partnership that had been building since the Outta the Dark days.
