Maseru Nkosi Edwards (b. February 14, 1994), better known as CHXPO, is an underground rapper hailing from Cleveland, Ohio.

He started making music in the early 2010s after being inspired by many artists in the trap scene, most notably Gucci Mane for his consistent releases and insane work ethic.

During that time, he joined the BBE 900 clique, which led him to meet Doe Boy, who took CHXPO under his wing and signed him to his record label RBMG.

After signing to Doe Boy’s label, he formed a friendship with SpaceGhostPurrp, leading them to make music together and forming the BMB Deathrow collective in 2015.
He also formed connections with other collectives such as Working on Dying, Goth Money and GothBoiClique, working with the likes of Sickboyrari, Matt OX, Lil Peep and Oogie Mane.

In 2017, he would get his first breakout hit after dropping the song “BVNDGXD” which gained a lot of popularity, going as far as to have a music video for it directed by Lyrical Lemonade 3 months after its release. To this day, it’s the biggest song he’s ever released in his discography, currently reaching over 7M streams on Spotify.
He also released a considerable amount of mixtapes after that song, most notably Emo Savage, which also has another breakout hit song from it called 4AM IN LA which featured Lil Peep on it.

As of today, he is still making music and while he isn’t at the same level of popularity as he used to be back in 2017, he is still an influential figure in the underground scene.
