Chunoook (Thomas Klins) is an Asian-American artist born in the UK before later moving to the USA. He has been making music since the age of 15.
His first post as Chunoook on social media was uploaded on November 23, 2024, where he promoted one of his then-upcoming indie pop songs, Disappointment, by lip-syncing to it while playing guitar alongside the track.

He continued making videos in this style until late 2025, when he started creating more experimental and dark pop music. Since then, he has mostly promoted his music using more abstract background visuals.
