Christión was an R&B duo from the Bay Area, composed of brothers Kenni Ski and Allen Anthony. It was the first R&B act signed to Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella Records.
Christión gained traction with the hit single “Full of Smoke”, which helped propel their 1997 debut album Ghetto Cyrano to the #23 spot on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
The duo contributed to several albums and compilation tapes throughout the 90s, like the Streets Is Watching soundtrack and the Backstage Mixtape by DJ Clue. Christión worked with hip-hop artists too, featuring on songs by Luniz, 3X Krazy, Mr. Mike, The Jacka and others.
Eventually the duo went on hiatus, and by the early 2000s Allen Anthony left to pursue a solo career and later join the metal group A Band Called Pain. Meanwhile Kenni Ski recruited T. Ross and released the second Christión album Project Plato in 2005.
