Chechi de Marcos
AKA: Cecilia De Marcos
Chechi De Marcos is an Argentine singer and songwriter. At the age of one, she moved to Entre Ríos, where she lived for 12 years, and she currently resides in Buenos Aires. Since her first song A la Luna (2017), she has been developing her own unique style. After releasing her EP Antes (de florecer) in 2020, produced by Pablo Giménez and Nicolás Btesh, and the single Casi nunca entiendo nada featuring Esmeralda Escalante and Feli Colina, she was invited to open major shows such as Bándalos Chinos at the Hipódromo de Palermo and Carla Morrison at the Teatro Ópera.
Chechi showcases maturity and experience in her debut studio album Cecilia (2022), produced by Tomás Merello. The album includes the singles La Sorpresa, Roberto, and No me quieras tanto featuring Luca Bocci.
In 2023, her rising solo career and her role as a backing vocalist for Conociendo Rusia led her to perform on increasingly prominent stages (Quilmes Rock, Primavera Sound), and she sold out venues such as La Tangente and CC Richards.
In El ángel que soy (2025), Chechi De Marcos reveals her inner world with a raw and deeply emotional touch. Accompanied by Matías Cella and Luca Bocci, her second album emerges as a sensitive and fragile work that overflows with emotion and the tenderness that defines her as a singer-songwriter. Far from electronic programming, the songs breathe through front-and-center guitars, aching lyrics, and healing melodies.
