“Your name is 20 shades lighter than Asher Roth!” “Your flow is mostly off..” is what I hear sometimes. Otherwise I hear mostly positive vibes from people experiencing my music for the first time. I do admit my flow needs a live tutoring session until I am beatin' senseless on how to flow to a beat. Since 2009 when I started you would think I have gotten better. Well I feel overall I have, production-wise, lyrics-wise, but being completely self taught, its hard out here for a rapper. I knew it was going to be when I made that decision, but I was never going to quit. No matter how bad somebody puts me down, I’m going to take the heat, reverse it, and blow it away like a cool fan. It’s simple, I try the best I can. I study other artists. I study the craft. I practice what I know within each project I put out. I have more than a handful of projects and they are used to simply better my craft. I mainly focus on the core things of my music, like just the songs. I’m not that handy at making extravagant videos, although I am handy in AP and AE. It doesn’t make sense for me to make video after video when I want to focus on making great music first.
