I’m sure you can imagine what its like being a 16 yo delinquent in the Mid 90’s listening to Nas, Cypress Hill, Wu Tang, Biggie, etc.
Now try to picture a rap career in the notorious Narcos Cartel cities of Medellin and Cali, Colombia. Picking up a microphone and rapping at clubs, festivals, concerts and being an influential part of a forever growing Hip Hop movement.
Times got turbulent so you now have the plug to move that product back to the states . You start in DC and begin to network in Chicago were you form a group “Trafikantez”. This is a time where the internet is becoming a house hold name and people are still using AOL CD’s or Yahoo chat groups. Next thing you know you got connects in Miami, New York, Boston, and other cities.
The group has to split due to some differences. With some good connects in Queens , NYC and a steady base in DC. You remain independent and move more product than before by adapting to the new social medias and digital distribution outlets and by being an innovator.
Who would ever of thought that I would be relaxing in the South of France shooting music videos, sippin martinis and releasing product at my own pace with out radio play, major labels, or cosigns .
Thats my story
