Formed in Spring 2018, Ceramic is a synth and harmony infused project formed in Ipswich, Massachusetts and currently based in Costa Rica.

The band is comprised of Abi Flynn Chamberlain, Benjamin David Chamberlain, and Kody Selvo.

Releasing in 2018, the band’s first album, Keep Going blends dreamy bedroom pop with synth artistry to invoke a sense of yearning and impending change.

A year later in 2019, the second album Lost in the Shroud would release, shedding the youthful sound of the first and embracing the cathartic sound of indie rock.

From here, the band would tease an their upcoming album sporadically across multiple singles. Songs like “Patience,” “Sign,” “Afterimage,” “So College,” “Obvious,” and “Wetlands” would release across 2020 to 2021 before culminating in the album Brackish released in 2022.

The band would once again return to drip marketing for their next album, 2024’s stereo in collaboration with artist Bouvé.

On May 15, 2025, the band would release its fourth studio album, Somebody like that, in reference to a lyric on the song “Someone Somewhere”.
