Chelsey Odosamamwen Ode (born December 29, 2003), known professionally as Ceechynaa, is an English rapper based in Essex.

Ceechynaa’s debut single “Legal Baby” showcased her unique style. She started gaining attraction with the viral hit “Last Laugh,” which was shot in Leicester Square and featured clever wordplay and rejection of social norms. Journals like British Vogue and The Guardian highlight her audacity, and critics find her music as bold, naive, and powerful. On December 5, 2024, Ceechynaa would go on to release her third single, “Peggy,” debuting at number 2 on the UK Spotify Top 50.

She first became interested in songwriting during a studio session when she was fourteen years old, marking the beginning of her musical career. In 2019, Ceechynaa’s brave persona emerged with a speech that went viral and questioned traditional standards of beauty.

Collaborations with Tion Wayne at Reading Festival and a Dazed cover strengthen Ceechynaa’s rising star status. Inspired by Nicki Minaj and Witch House, she blends these influences into her drill tracks, creating a unique sound.
