Josh Hwang, better known by his stage name CASTLEBEAT, is an American bedroom pop singer-songwriter from Irvine, CA.

He is based in Brooklyn, New York and he also runs the record label Spirit Goth Records.

He also releases music under the name Gloomjoy, and is part of the duo Jaded Juice Riders alongside Mateo Hwang.
