Carter James is an independent songwriter, producer, and recording artist based in NYC. As a graduate of Berklee College of Music specializing in Dark Pop dressed in dreams, he’s garnered over 45 writing credits, 50 production credits, and 17 million streams on Spotify across projects. After releasing three independent EP’s and gaining popularity online, Carter signed his first record deal with Universal Music Group in 2020 with the release of his song ‘Time’. In addition to his own artistry, Carter is the primary producer for pop-folk musician and Nettwerk artist, ’PEGGY’ (2021-2023).
