B.T. Express was an American funk and disco band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 1974. The group, originally known as the King Davis House Rockers, consisted of brothers Louis and Leslie Wilson, Richard Thompson, Bill Risbrook, Carlos Ward, and Dennis Rowe. B.T. Express achieved significant commercial success in the mid-1970s, particularly with their hit singles “Do It (‘Til You’re Satisfied)” and “Express,” which both reached the top of the Billboard R&B and Dance charts. Their music, characterized by catchy horn riffs, driving beats, and soulful vocals, has endured as a staple of the disco and funk genres.
