Brodu is an undisciplined rock band with elements from other styles such as funk, blues and doom metal, who sing in Maltese and sometimes in English. They debuted at the Lissen Festival in 2012.

The band’s members Zizza (guitar and vocals), Fre (bass), Drinu (guitar and vocals), Samwel (piano and vocals) and Chris (drums and vocals). Brodu’s musical influences are Verdena, Beatles, Mac DeMarco, Bob Marley, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Bossanova and many more.

Brodu recorded their first album called Ħabullabullojb at Temple Studios in Mistra with production by David Vella. The album was launched at Razzett l-Aħmar in Mosta on November 14, 2014.

The second album called Tfejt was recorded in Temple Studios in Mistra with production by David Vella and was launched on 9 July 2017 in St James Cavalier in Valletta.

At the end of 2017, Brodu returned to Temple Studios to record two new discs produced by David Vella, which were launched on Sunday 22 April 2018 during ‘Rock The South’ as ​​an EP under the name Intimita'.

The third album called ‘Blu’ was recorded between 2019 and 2020 and launched online on 15 February 2021. The album has production, recording, mixing and mastering by David Vella of Temple Studios.
