BROCKBEATS is a lo-fi/chillhop artist from Japan, who began making music in 2015. He is self-described as being inspired by artists such as “Nujabes, EVISBEATS, Vampire Weekend, [and] João Gilberto."

On March 9 of 2016, he released three albums simultaneously for his debut, Safari, Monster in the Closet, and Funky Fresh. Throughout the rest of 2016, 2017, and 2018, 15 more albums were released, the most notable being 2018’s TOY TOY TOY, BROCKBEATS' most popular album to date. In 2019 two more albums were released, Silent Talk and Special Nerds.
