The bluegrass/alt-rock/folk-pop band Boy Named Banjo is comprised of Barton Davies (vocals, banjo), William Reames (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Willard Logan (vocals, mandolin acoustic/electric guitar), Sam McCullough (vocals, drums), and Ford Garrard (vocals, bass).

Reames, Davies, and Logan grew up together and started performing on the sidewalks around Nashville, TN before recording their first album, “The Tanglewood Sessions” in 2012. Shortly after, they added McCullough to the group in 2013 and recorded “Long Story Short” the next year (2014).

The “Lost on Main” EP came out in 2016, months before they added Garrard to the mix. More recently, in April 2020, the group signed with Mercury Records Nashville. Fans can expect their debut major label EP to come in the summer of 2022.
