In Glasgow, Scotland in 2014, Eilidh McMillan (Rapid Tan, Jealous Girlfriend), Simone Wilson (Hairband, Mary Column) and Cal Donnelly (Kaputt, Rapid Tan) formed Breakfast Muff. The members of the band alternate between guitar, bass, drums, and vocals.

They are known for making albums in very short time spans; The Feels was made in two days, Rainbow Yawn in three days, Eurgh! in four days, and Crocodile in just one.
